The Tier 1 Entrepreneur category is aimed at individuals who want to invest in the UK by either setting up a new business, or becoming involved in an existing business in this country.

Requirements:

• Entrepreneur visa applicants need access to at least £200,000, which must be held in a regulated financial institution and be readily disposable in the UK.
• Entrepreneur visa applicants must satisfy the ‘’genuine entrepreneur’’ test, which includes, the submission of a business plan and supporting financials.
• The Home Office might also schedule an interview with the applicant as part of the decision-making process in respect of their visa application. We can prepare applicants for this by way of a mock interview.
• Applicants must meet the English Language requirements set by the Home Office and prove they can support themselves financially.
• Entrepreneur visa applicants are permitted to bring their spouse or partner and children under 18 into the UK as dependants.
• Dependants can apply for permanent residency provided the main applicant meets the qualifying criteria.
• Main applicants and dependants must remain in the UK for 180 days per year over a continuous 12-month period if they want to obtain permanent residency after 5 years.
